The Kamala Harris effect?
I genuinely thought we would lose the Senate this November but pick up the house of representatives which was the easiest path to victory.
But now,.......
Republican Candidates Fall Behind in Four Pivotal Senate Races
Republican Senate candidates are trailing further behind their Democratic rivals in four key swing states, according to a poll.
A Cook Political Report/GS Strategy Group/BSG Swing State Project survey shows that Democratic Senate hopefuls running in Arizona, Michigan, Nevada and Pennsylvania have increased their vote share over their Republican challengers compared to a previous survey in May.
The only state where a Republican candidate has improved their vote share from the previous survey is Wisconsin, where Republican Eric Hovde has gone from being 12 points behind Democratic Senator Tammy Baldwin to 7 points in the latest survey (43 percent to 50 percent).
It's still too early but if we sweep them, the MAGA Movement is all but dead and buried.

The entire hairbrained scheme includes expansive unlimited presidential powers, plans to restrict pornography, and immigration, fully embracing Christian nation-ism, immediately issuing hundreds of executive orders, regulations, and memos, creating “shadow” agencies, firing tens of thousands of government workers unless they pledge fealty to trump, and to carry out the largest deportation in US history which will include the expulsion of millions of undocumented immigrants, which btw the former president has himself called for publicly

Sounds like the current Harris/Biden administration. Like the currently unfolding economic depression that has been brewing since Bush2, nobody is talking about the expertly executed coup d'état in 2020. They're all dancing on their words so the tune can change on a dime. It was a pretty dull game for a long time until Trump was shot. Now it's obvious the string pullers want him out of the way. They fear his ability to sway Americans, as well they should. The cheap tricks, like minimizing the fact we saw an attempted assassination, should have been turned into better copy. It's like writers just assembled conjunctions, keywords and non-gendered vowels. But this could just as easily be a 3rd party trying to kick start the bloody part of the US civil war (which has been underway since Obama). Trump's presidency was and still is being torpedoed in an effort to keep him out of the top seat. A seat he handed to Biden after his dictatorship expired. I was actually surprised Trump chowed down on crow that day, it was so unlike him. After all, consider his signature. No descenders and the whole of it looks like a saw blade. Even Nixon's wasn't so peculiar. But I think that's in the plus column for Trump. We don't need a president to be "nice" to everyone while they empty their jails and asylums on US deserts and shores. We need an asshole who doesn't give an inch. While I am positive Harris is capable of delivering after seeing her efforts in California, I don't think the rest of the planet will give her any respect. They KNOW how she is inclined to win friends and influence people. So I expect a basic fire sale for the US. I'll be stuck in a country called Deep South or Andalusia. Maybe they'll merge NC and SC, call it TrailerTopia or Gaffney. |

I’m reminded of a quote from former white house chief of staff John Kelly who said “President Donald Trump is the most flawed person he’s ever known” And General Kelly was in his inner circle and knew him well. |

If he was, there would be no President Biden. I'm beginning to wonder if you understand what a dictator actually is. A hint: it's not just a guy people don't like, it's a guy who takes over. One of the reasons Trump made so much progress in the Middle East and Eastern Europe is because he isn't a predictable American clone president doing what the string pullers command. Because of this he was able to play the part of a loose cannon. Which is what Bernie would have been as well. Unless Trump puts up one of his kids to marry into a dictator's family, I doubt we'll see him giving any quarter to them. He'll be polite and say NO. He's done it before. He got in the faces of world leaders who were dragging their assses and keeping NATO going, uselessly. Trump told them the US didn't need to be paying for their protection anymore.
