It is interesting, that place becoming the model of censorship. Isn’t that what left wing does though? Seriously. How many times did I see people correcting, pronouns, offended at the midget farm. or some getting upset about others not being politically correct. Political correctness is censorship. I don’t subscribe to it. The N word, I simply don’t use. That is my choice to do, not because I censor myself, but because of what the word always meant to me.  Not mad at others who use it either.   I believe black is going out of fashion.    Not every black person is African American. African American, I don’t use either. 
African American does not represent slavery in America,,but it is perceived that way by people on the outside too.  This is by design.  

in high school I had Conversation with two black girls in my class.  One was talking about the word Nigerian and how white people use it. I said, what are you talking about?  People from Jamaica use it more than anyone.  And I said, if you want to censor “White people” tell them how to speak, try censoring yourself and avoid telling others what they can and can’t say.   I told her she was an ignorant fark.   One of them agreed with me.

It is interesting that people have become afraid to speak their mind more and more in the USA simply because of the backlash receive for not being politically correct. Using the correct term of the hour. It is not only in the USA actually. So people are self censoring. By becoming silent. Not because they want to be silent but because the person feels safer doing so. The.silence in many ways is like being controlled. It becomes a form of control. Only one way of thinking permitted, it seemed to be, much of the times, what majority of the members wanted, Majority rules. I was not surprised it went that way.

I saw this for years.  As an independent voter I try to vote for issues selectively as opposed to candidates and "popularity"  If the points I want add up to a particular candidate, that's how I cast.  Obama was a prime example.  I knew I didn't want the McCain show and Obama represented something new (or so I thought).  So everyone on HF was cool with me because I was obviously a "democrat" for selecting Obama.

But Obama was a serious disappointment right out of the gate.  I expected a different kind of democrat and what I got was substantially worse.  And I didn't mind discussing it.  Then the Romney fiasco and I ended up pulling the lever for Obama again hoping things would iron out.  

After voting for Trump, who was another non-conventional candidate, I became a pariah on HF.  And for the last 3 years I watched the whole situation on HF go to hell.  But not just there.  I found that stories I knew from Obama's terms were not easy to find again on the web.  I had to really dig.  Meanwhile, I can tell you what brand of toothpick Trump uses.  They study him like a lab animal.
 
Censoring me was a dumb move on the part of HF.  It only pissed me off.  In an earlier time I might have sabotaged their whole site.  But I dislike court, etc.  Instead, I'm just going to watch it implode while they try to pad their membership by digging in the graveyard of their own making to revive old memberships (not the members, just their accounts, the ones nobody gets to delete).  Since most of this shiit came at me from hard core far left control freaks, parting is not a sweet sorrow.  

Instead, I am disappointed in myself for not doing something about this a year or two ago.  Maybe we'll get it better this time around.

I think Chase came 7th today in NASCAR. he was running about there late. Wasn't the best race to watch.
