A Jimmy Stewart classic,
The woman who plays his wife is famous for playing this exact same role in other films. She became a standard for portrayals of military wives.

Watched a couple of films last night. Drinks bus , didn't like at first but quite enjoyed it . Quite quirky Then that film about the degenerate Fredy Mercury .Wasn't really keen on Queen but they made some good music and Mercury couldn't half sing .Good film , worth watching.Good live aid set , remember watching as a youth tripping on mushrooms as a good at a racouse party

I watched Warhorse last night , a Spielberg film . It's a fantastic watch , great story, characters, acting , everything brilliant .My eyes got a bit watery at some points. I'd watched it before but very glad to have watched it again.Think it won loads of awards when it first came out. "Set before and during World War I, its plot follows Joey, a bay Irish Hunter horse raised by English teenager Albert as he is bought by the British Army, leading him to encounter various people throughout Europe, in the midst of the war and its tragedies."
An enjoyable evening with some oak and ash in the burner , good strong tobacco 's ( rum and maple twist and a tonquin topped flake) and some gluggable real ales
