I timed these so they're be flowered and harvested and done a day before I go back to work next year.
At the end of this month I'll stsrt my 5 blueberry cheesecakes and 2 can't remember what they are. Hopefully I can get 4 or 5 of them. I don't have much luck stsrting from seeds sometimes. I reckon half the seeds you get are just duds

Yeah I wait until they sink in water and then I put them in rockwool for a few weeks but I always get a few that just say nope and fall over dead.

Those are beautiful plants Irminsul . I remember back when you first talked about wanting to use a tent...and look now. You even know exactly how long it takes to get it to flower and how long before picking it. The few times I had a successful grow, I sometimes felt like I tended to wait too long to harvest. That you definitely have the experience and knowledge to know when to harvest is cool. As much as I prefer this real time compared to DST, I always go through this change. I feel super sleepy early in the evening and by the time its time to go to bed, I feel jittery when I stretch out in the bed. If I get up and sit and read or color or whatever my body calms down. I'm able to feel tired and jittery at the same time...what a talent, eh? The yard is a tree fallen mess. Yet all I can think when I go outside is I want to get some pansies out there in a few flower pots that nobody will ever notice unless I point it out and show them.

My biggest fault at growing is telling myself the plants need to be a little bigger, just a little bigger and then they flower and stretch and don't fit under the lights anymore lol. I have a feeling these two will stretch cause there's a lot going on in the centres which, from my experience, tells its going to stretch tall and hopefully quite spaced out.
I had it all worked out, give the plants 2-3 days to adjust to 12hr light cycle which ends today, then 8 weeks today is 3rd January. 4-5 days to dry is 9th January, take a day to harvest each plant = 11th and I'm back work 13th. Lol

I can look out any south facing window and see enough [potential] firewood to last for years. One thing that was damaged during Helene was the chimney. I will be getting that repaired for sure as I am going to have a fire in that dang chimney! The worse bill I have is the heating fuel which is diesel with an additive. These past few years 100 gallons has cost as much as $550 and $620. It used to run $300 to $350, and I'm not talking about 10 years ago either. Gas has dropped some lately but I'm not placing any bets on what is going to happen whenever. Fire from wood out of my yard costs nothing every day of every year. lol
I had already planned to get a chimney sweep down here to prepare for winter...now I'll have people in the attic that will be able to help with getting that most important antenna wire from the roof to the living room. That's what I'm planning anyway.
I have walked around where I could and kind of cried a little bit over those trees that I'm certain were over 150yrs old. Thank God those Big oaks didn't hit the house...they are beside the house. They effectively block one part of the property from the other part.
