While yes, that’s a badass video, you don’t see that at least once a day while driving on whatever Interstate you travel - Some guy who thinks he’s Mario Andretti Indeed, Atlanta is full of people who will drive anything like it's Talladega, vehicles from rusting econo-box to massive dually with nary a scratch in the paint. But it still pales to a sanctioned dirt course. There's a town in West Georgia called Whitesburg (no idea why). They have a dirt oval track that's just crazy. It goes in and out of operation because it's a smaller track, so they limited the cars to 4 cyl rear wheel drive. Most use early 80s Mustangs. It's like a demolition derby in the round! This image shows a lot of rain erosion and they would need to drain the infield. I only went there a few times, it was a lot of fun.
