afternoon doobie time ...foraged a couple good sized downed trees today...full p/u of dry wood  ....every where you look here there is dead elm trees...i have 5 on my propertyv all dead |

i tasted a recipe for mac and cheese made in a crockpot and it was really tasty...so tomorrow that is what we having here....i'm very excited....both of my room mates have their seperate struggles and it is often on me to cook...or pay for take out

Haven't burnt any for years , not much ash and best mixed to stay in.Hard wood real fecker to cut up by hand with a bow saw.

a bow saw?....not me...i couldnt do it by hand...i mostly burn hickory and maple...the elm is filler....i have 2 stihl chainsaws...not the housewife ones and 2 very trusty mawls for hand splitting though i usually can finagle` a splitter bills game is starting.. |

Well Vanilla, I would love to hear more. [what was Steve?] I'm still confused by this part "After I fed the outside cats tonight, I think the dead kitty may not have been a Larry but the younger Harry. All 5 Larrys were present." Is Larry a slang term or did you name 5 cats Larry and one Harry? Ha! You actually got it! But of course I want to explain.  Back last year around December there were 2 outside cats that gave birth at the same time [basically]. The results were 5 black cats and 1 Siamese. Since I was not capable of keeping up with 5 different names for 5 cats that looked the same and were wild, I decided to call all of the little black cats Larry. I thought I had talked about that until I was both xtra crazy and boring.  The Siamese I call Sophie, and it has worked out amazingly well to call all of them Larry. I am now able to pet 3 Larrys. But to completely finish...then about 2 months ago the most prolific cat in the world introduced me to 4 more kittens. There was only one little black kitten and it had blue eyes so I named him Harry; even though I always knew he would eventually look like all of the Larrys. I am still shaking my head at the cat I buried. It was bigger than this last litter, yet Harry is AWOL and I think I have seen all 5 Larrys. I can't swear I've seen them all as there is 1 and sometimes 2 females that may be wandering around at all times. I have not seen 7 black cats at the same time in the back yard since February, but they have all be alive as of 3 weeks ago. |

Writer's Panic: I can't tolerate Schwimmer for very long. He always plays wimpy, useless characters with a side of creepy. He was great in Band of Brothers, I hated every episode he did!

I absolutely believe one of the things that keeps me on this side of sanity without being a cynical smartass is I seek humor. The later the tv show is on, the more it MUST be funny. The movies I now watch are funny. It seems like it dang does something to me to watch movies I used to watch. My heart gets to beating, I want to stay seated and yet I want to stand.  Shoot - I'm old and will get my heart racing from the news.  So, I find I only watch silly fluff movies. I wouldn't watch David Schwimmer for sure. lol I read all kinds of darkish books, but the author must be witty and humorous. My mind has it dark times as life tends to get pretty messy. I just let myself dwell and think as it must. In fact, I think I enjoy humor most when it is surrounded by real life marlarkey. |
