I never knew what to think of this group/song. I thought they could be a new incarnation like Queen was in the 70s. Clearly Freddy had more energy.

In my twenties and thirties, a used to envy people that lived in florida, but now that I am in my sixties, I wouldn't move there if you gave me a free house on the coast.... Not just because of the weather but also because of the political climate, I have a tendency to knock up my girlfriend's I grew up in Florida mostly. A few times we lived on the beach, it was fantastic. But when I finished Junior high, we had to move to Alabama. Worse still, it was Montgomery. I went to Geo. Washington Carver high school where I learned advanced concepts like Plussing, Minusing and Times-ing. I went from being a B/C student in Florida to being on the A/B honor role student overnight. And yet, most of the people around me were dumber than me. I longed for Florida. I had just gotten good at surfing too. Alabama wasn't completely forked. They had a massive man-made lake and excellent hiking yadda yadda yadda. But eventually you have to deal with the locals, same as any island. And Montgomery may as well be an island. It's surrounded by nothing but farms and paper mills. The pure stench is amazing some days. Montgomery also forbid concerts except gospel and country. I was 15 when I saw Foreigner there. The cops would shove you down in your seat if you stood up. The lights were on and they were looking high and low for people passing anything. A total drag. Alabama was a big reason I lied about my age to join the Navy. Where I ended up on Oahu, a fuking island. I finally moved back to Florida in 1989. In 1993 I found the perfect spousal unit. In 1999 we moved to Atlanta, chasing dollars. In 2009 we almost purchased a condo on St. Augustine Beach for only $47K. It was a 2BR former apartment, in a complex. But it was a bargain. However, the HOA nonsense sent us running. I can't justify living there now. I don't know anybody anymore, so where would we go? Trailer parks are now over $100K, it's insane. Florida loves to tout their zero state income tax, but I guarantee you they have every other way to get into your wallet mapped out. It's a ridiculously expensive place to live for what you get. Poor water quality is also common there.

Hey everybody! I just wanted to stop in and let everybody know I'm alive and well. I have 2 trees on the house and I honestly don't know how many fell. My yard is a catastrophe. I can't walk throughout the yard but sort of on the outskirts.
Two massive oaks that I call Old Queens fell, thankfully not toward the house. The son says there are no less than 10 trees down. Probably more.
Where the trees fell, I was asleep directly under the area. At 5:30am Sept 27, I was awoken by trees hitting the house. That sound was unreal.
By 6am there was water coming from the ceiling in the kitchen, which is the room beside where I sleep. I lined pots up to catch the water and towels in the floor. That dried out the floor by the next day. Then Saturday everything seemed to be settling down...I was in the living room when I suddenly heard this UNREAL sound [again]. I first thought another tree and fallen though I couldn't imagine it. I went in the kitchen and the ceiling had fallen in the dang floor! It was roughly 1/4 of the plaster ceiling where the water had been falling.
During this time, I have remained so grateful for my life AND STILL TRUE TO FORM IN LOSING THINGS. I have lost my dang hotspot device and that is why it has been this long to come here/online. I am at my friend's and the computer is about to run out of juice. Of course I didn't bring my charger.
Anyway, I can't wait to find my hotspot or get some other way to get online.
I sure do miss coming online [here].
See y'all later.

That sucks Lynn. Plaster can be removed to the outside. If you have some dump area, it will mix with soil/dirt, its just Gypsum. This way you can clean up faster.

Camp is cool. I'm just soaking the last of the sun for a couple days on the solar panels to keep the fridge running. I think my other battery is cactus. It doesn't know if it's 44volts on the reader, or dead flat. I'm not even sure it's charging anymore. But it's charging our stuff so I'll keep going with it. It's 7yrs old now. That's a car battery life, or more.
I feel like a total fat I've just been snacking on peanuts and beer mix nuts and all the salt and my drinks bloated me out 😂😂 I came in so skinny too. Not even a week I reckon I'm up 5kg just on water weight. Oh well. Lamb shops. Mash and veges for meal today. We did all our last shopping in town earlier this morning. Now we are camped up for 4 more nights. That's why I need the fridge to be charged up. I think by Friday though we get sun again. But it might snow from here between. I bought a cool light weight flannel fleece lined coat in town. Kinda cool
We went through all our coke and mdma on the second night 😂😂😂 was a lovely sunrise though.
