The Aussie knotfest line-up sucks. I won't be spending the money to travel to that one I don't think. Who the f are health? Who the f names their band health? Good to see Babymetal still going strong though All the rest though, yawn And how many friggin times has slipknot toured australia, like retire already

tours often follow record sales.....when the monks toured southern ontario...i remember speaking to a close friend who worked at polygram records who said they were here because ''drugs in my pocket'' charted in southern ontario.....but nowhere else lol...i went to see them at a wedding venue type hall in a small town...same person took me to peter schilling and huey lewis was the opener [toronto masonic temple]

That live here I stock up on turkeys this time of year. I feed more critters than humans, but all of the turkey is used. My favorite gag is to hang the remaining turkey carcass from a bungee cord about a foot above the ground. The cats then create an amazing show!

I've only heard of Hatebreed and slipknot who I don't even care for. Heard of baby metal but dunno who they are. I wanted like old school bands like Korn, Rob Zombie hell maybe even System of a Down or something, nostalgia. These must be all new age stuff the teens listen to. Time to bring back sound wave.

That's interesting.
Mind you i'd love it more if the whole idea wasn't pushed down our throats by the government.
Solar power is good for everyone.
I've been at this for years now. What I'm trying to plot out is the most effective placement of solar panels. At the moment I have 800 watts of panels. What I am doing differently is arranging the panels in sets according to the angle of the sun and the shadows cast by living in a forest. So there's never a time when all of the panels are producing. Instead I have a pair of 100 watt panels that catch the morning light in the summer for about 2 hours. By then the sun is hitting a 200 watt single panel I bought on a whim. Then I have a pair of garden wagons with a pair of 100 watt panels on each. This allows me to adjust as I zero in on the best panel arrangement for all seasons and which will need to be adjustable. Because of this the panels are in their peak during their particular placement and angle. My situation is far from perfect. The roof of the house would be great, but only for a matter of maybe 5 months out of the year. But mounting on the roof can mean your insurance company playing games with my wallet. So I'm designing a carport that can support what I'll need to tilt panels with zero concern from insurance or municipal treasure seekers. I have 1200 watts of panels still in their shipping boxes. The current panels charge a 4.8KW battery bank that's harvested by a 3KW pure sine wave inverter. At the moment the power is distributed around the house using extension cords. I am not about to tie into the house system unless there's a total outage. When that happens I shut down the main breaker and backfeed the inverter into the house at the point of the highest current breaker. So while I can supply 60hz/117VAC, I don't have enough power to run the central air conditioning. Instead I have a room that has a window AC so we have a chilled haven from the worst of Georgia's heat. Thankfully this comes during summer when all of the panels get full sun. It's still tight though. A second battery bank is one option. A generator is another.

It was kinda fun seeing people at work last night some I hadn't seen for couple months as they were on holidays when I left etc. It reminded me that there's a social element of working. The work sucks. But people can be alright in 8hr doses minus breaks.
