My all time favorite is from Pink Floyd's Time on Dark Side Of The Moon. They performed this back in '87 when I saw them in Miami.

It's funny too because I'd never describe him as "the best", I just enjoy listening to him play. I saw him in an interview once saying that he started out trying to sound like Clapton but never got the sound down. |

Yeah Gilmour is my favorite guitarist. It's funny too because I'd never describe him as "the best", I just enjoy listening to him play. I saw him in an interview once saying that he started out trying to sound like Clapton but never got the sound down.
The stuff he plays is not all that complex but his bends and feel are among the best.

i'm usually not a big fan of guitar solos. i know this isn't a hard rule, but so often it feels like the guitarist is just onstage wanking over his guitar abilities, while forgetting to play music that actually sounds good.
