Drop me a note to let me know what you'd rather your forum be called. I just went with variations on your names. It's a novel concept I think. But some of the settings are admin-controlled and there's not a lot of flexibility.
But, the price is right!
So your forum name and the text below it have to be set by admin.
If you want to change the news feeder or the background in the header, let me know in this thread. The header is limited to 400k and you'll have to send me a link to the image so I can download it.

My company tried to get all the service techs to start blogging about the day's calls. On their own time. Several quit after their lack of participation was used to fark them out of a raise. It amazes me how many companies still pull blatant shiit like that to horsewhip yet another penny or so from your hide. I should be protesting. |

One of the things I liked about that other place was having a home button on the bottom of the page. Kept my scrolling finger from getting cramped. I have no idea if this place can do that.

There's the top button which takes you to the top (duh) where there is a home button. So that at least prevents you from having to scroll up |

There's certainly a learning curve, but it's not as steep as the one for vBulletin simply because this free provider doesn't offer much in the way of sophistication. Dice and GB are who I'd expect to want to meddle in those areas. I made a development area for that purpose. Skipforums.boards.net If you want to tool around with it, we can make you an admin over there. As for the arrangement and forums, we just knew what we didn't want it to look like. The discussions over on reddit came down to basically "get it working, and we'll figure it out then". I'm actually intrigued that so much functionality is available for free and totally anonymously. I'm setting one up for the underground radio station too. |
