hi emily......i dunno how much conversation goes on here....these peple all moved on to treehouseforums.net.....say hello from me if you go by there.....i am way to 'left' for that site so i dpnt frequent it anymore......there are some very cool people there if you weed through the trash....admin here is a cool dude and he is admin over there too...i think...good on you to talk about being a survivor.......i am a survivor of the 80s......many sleepless nights taking way too much liberty.... maybe we will talk again.... b @writers panic tell irmy i say ''go bills'' Like I'm involved with drama? Like I'm involved with drama? My only gripe is the stagnation we get when we don't promote the site. The same people bouncing the same ball over and over turns into exactly what should be expected. Think about what it takes to build up a forum as we have. Instead of a couple of people we had like 40 or so the day Tree Fort opened. I admit it's why I'm not there as much as I used to be. It's like nothing changes in a Groundhog Day kind of way sometimes. If you recall, on this site most of the members are also what platform is it hosted at? I might join treefortforums.net |

Currently been in hospital for 5 days with a broken ankle.
Pissed off cos I haven't been able to go outside for a pipe. I can't walk so have to try and find some one to push me in a wheelchair.

Good evening, I'm Likahamadoolihan. Currently been in hospital for 5 days with a broken ankle. Pissed off cos I haven't been able to go outside for a pipe. I can't walk so have to try and find some one to push me in a wheelchair. As I started morphing into Trans-Geezer I began to notice that injuries were taking much longer to heal. Somehow I've managed to avoid any broken bones, but there are plenty of ways to create orthopedic pain without actually breaking a bone. I've been able to rely on physical therapy for a back injury but dislocating a shoulder was just amazing in the way pain went across my body in waves. Even kidney stones never did that. So I'm a year from when I first injured my shoulder and I'm still not willing to climb a ladder. It's too easy to injure it again. I knocked a bowl off the counter and instinctively reached down to catch it. And it set my arm on fire, I was unable to get out of the recliner for 20 minutes. But I have to pause at this age and remember how I have respected the words of Mick Jagger - "what a drag it is growing old" |

I can't walk so have to try and find some one to push me in a wheelchair. When I had a high ankle sprain, I got around just fine with Aluminum Underarm Crutches, can't you do the same? |

Off for my operation very soon , got a drip with a big bottle of water going into my arm cos nil by mouth .
Tap that wouldn't work at all , it was dislocated and needed to be put back in . I have a fracture and can barely put any weight on it .

I got on their wrong side awhile back over TOS violations and they will delete in a heartbeat if you don't delete actually flagged content. I tried to negotiate and got nowhere. Especially in today's weird social "justice" environment where people are allowed and even empowered to whine so much that someone gives in and makes something destructive happen. I was raised by a bra-burning feminist who divorced my father, a commercial artist, when I was 6. Within a few years I had 4 parents, all of them contradicting each other. Because of this I have step siblings and half siblings who managed to find a common cause, driving a wedge between me and my parents. Not that they needed any help, but they still got it. Which is why I lied about my age and joined the Navy. None of them knew until I was getting out of boot camp and heading to Treasure Island. Today all of the parents are gone, dead within a few years of each other. My only actual sibling died nearly a decade ago. So I'm left with these "partial siblings" who still seem to think I'm some kind of resource. They use language like "you have to help us" and "why are you being so unreasonable". It's revolting. But I never blamed them for being a pit of vipers, it's what our parents facilitated. My mother was never wrong, Dad drew cartoons and other useless stuff. The only building he ever designed is still standing in Daytona. So I grew up expecting very little from them. I was civil, but I didn't go looking for them and if they didn't call, I didn't miss them. While it reads harsh, I learned a lot about independence and even more about leverage. When my father was dying from cancer a treatment in China involving stem cells became available. I talked him into getting it. It cost over $250K overall, but he lived 6 years longer. I felt like it was his right since the money was his estate. The sibling horde set upon me like rabid dogs. As far as they knew it was 3/4 of his estate. A year later I sold his beach condo and moved him into a place that made sense. He lived on the rest of his accounts until his last year. He died $40K in debt. They raided the storage units and have been trying to sell off his art ever since. And they expect me to "help"? Good lord. I have bigger fish to fry than any web site. I was on Hip Forums for over a decade, but then it became intolerable, so I left. It's like having so many TV stations. Sometimes they suddenly suck. Like much of the Star Trek franchise. I was fooled by them but not by Star Wars where the decline was eased in over multiple installments. One of the things I like about electric friends is the variety of people you can converse with whom you might not ever encounter. It doesn't mean it has to last or pass any test of time. It's funny though, how many beings I have known only through a terminal, and how many of them I miss more than most of my family. And all I knew about them was whatever facade they wanted to share. I've seen this evolve since the early 80s. One could draw a study on the effects this has had on humanity. I fully expect to be "friending" a harbor seal named Tugo who has a FB page and a brain chip that allows him to post and respond to comments. |

The conscious part of that post: You are not going to bother managing this site; no shiit. As I said to you yesterday, its a waste of time unless you get Irms here, you need at least 3 members that post 10 times a day 2. The subconscious part of that post: 15/16 is the most important age for the ladies, they have to be not overprotected, be allowed out of the house, mix with kids their own age, a different boyfriend every month etc Trouble with girls that age, they all fight over the top three guys in high school or the area, and they will all want whichever guy is number 1 ten times more than whichever guy is No. 3 Past that age, 17 and over the ladies get too good at bullshitting each other and everyone else So if they are not part of that little scene at 15 they remain clueless till its too late So despite all the bullskirt that comes out of the ladies mouths, your mother married a guy out of her league, probably shouldnt have, and by the time you were 6 realised she was just going to be stuck being his replacement mom slash nanny slash maid as it was just too easy for him to get attention from other ladies And by the sounds of it she really shouldnt have divorced him, Im guessing that didnt work out well, on to a lesser man who only lasted a couple of years who she ended up even angrier at (whether you knew of his existence or not) |
