In the mid-60s divorce was pretty common. All through my school years the kids with intact families were not in the majority. Not that my father was in a higher league, but he served her purpose for getting out of the house. He was in the military and got out before being called for Vietnam. I often wonder if his use of the relationship was to get out of the military and avoid combat under family hardship. So it was a Bob Seger kind of affair, "He used her, she used him but neither one cared"...

This is kind of an intense welcome thread. I'm from a nasty place in America. It looks beautiful with rolling hills of green. It is nestled between a paper mill, a plastics plant and several huge chicken plants. When all 3 are going the stink balances out. Like an episode of Angry Angry Beavers.
Where is the Hookah thread? Is there a Zen thread? Snacks?
