No ... They deleted a thread I put up about the media and Covid D ... They said it was all fake news. There's a lot of that sort of knee-jerk reaction. Web providers have decided that it's safer to remove any talk about Covid than risk the potential for even 1 user to say something that is not absolutely, medically determined to be accurate. And even if you ARE a doctor, if you post about Covid, it will likely be deleted. The people who are hosting us are in a similar mode and posted a warning about posting Covid discussions. I know diseases are politicized all the time, but we're seeing weirdness here. It's like the sorts of people who fit the Teacher's Pet/Hall Monitor role are now seeing themselves as being "in charge". Anyone with a measure of control or "power" is stepping up to do their part in regulating this discussion. HF on the other hand, censors far more than Covid talk. |

Yea, anything that wasn't hard left in Bal bus' forum, was 100% republican. I was into sparring with him for a while, but it became boring. So I tried to make it more exciting by pissing him off. Well, it did work. But it fed into the excuses he needed to go full power hungry. I've always been in the middle politically. These days neither side treats me well. |

Today at Hotel California, I got to lysol, clean and disinfect Mama's bathroom not once but TWICE. yay for her waste system.   I also went to my lawyer and did the POA of everything and my will. I'm not being morbid...I'm being responsible. Even though I was poor (or it felt like it) all the days of my life...that changed late last year. At any rate, I'm not going to be a selfish azz (like my mother) and make someone look after me. When I'm a burden, I'm ready to go somewhere that they'll get paid for fooling with me. Since the women, in particular, live forever - to between 95 and 102, it stands to reason before I cross the great divide, I'll need some help. As far as I'm concerned Mama (going on 101), who is healthy as a horse, will never die and will one day be the oldest living person. I'm about 100% sure, I'll no longer be the whipping girl caretaker, when she reaches 120 or so. Jebus... when a person gets in their 90s, for the very most part, that's long enough to stop annoying family. __________________________________________________________________ I'm been moving furniture around (and out! YAY) and want to do some sort of big things (rearranging in moving this furniture. Of course my friend that I call a girl (not so he can hear so I don't hurt his sensitive little feelings) will have to help me moving stuff. I need to get a new mattress and box springs also. I had to get a roof last month. Money goes fast as the wind. A person (me!) better watch out. damnation |
