I wasn't about to post this in the chat thread. This is where I choose to voice how thrilled, uplifted and all that good jazz I feel watching the Democratic National Convention these last few nights. I have not watched every bit of it by any means, but I was lucky enough to catch all the speakers I wanted to hear.
I love love love Michelle Obama. She is the best speaker I've ever heard. period
Most of you already know of my deep respect for President Obama, which he continues to earn.
I didn't know what to expect from Tim Walz. He checked all of my boxes. A fine man.
and Kamala Harris. Its like they are saying...listening to her, hearing all they [the Dems] are saying - it gives me hope that this woman is running.
I hope from the bottom of my heart she will be the next POTUS.

Once you're in its easy money and very little of what most of us know as "work". They all paint a pretty portrait of community service to such an extreme, they don't have time to speak with a constituent or anyone below mayor. And this is regardless of party. |
