I wasn't sure if we would get the other forum back so I logged onto my email which I don't use anymore so I could email Lynn and say goodbye and then checking my junk mail to see if she replied I saw a name I didn't recognise but they said i could use this forum again, so here I am.

I did tell Lynn if people were still speaking to let em know I went out on top in the 24hr race again. 😇 But I wasn't about to sign back up to hipforums or anything.

Up, up the BULLDOGS! We finally made the playoffs again for the first time since 2016, with 3 rounds to spare and 6pts on offer, we are 6 points ahead of the cut line but with a huge for and against tally, we'd have to lose the next 3 games by a total of 145 points which ain't gonna happen considering we now have the best defense in the competition. By the end of the weekend I expect it to be officially announced that we have made the playoffs even though I read it earlier today already. So there's been lots of bins smashed in the locker rooms after the games. Raiders, Dragons, Broncos and Dolphins all in the bin. We stomp our feet to the legends of the game!


How's that Bo Nix kid? Yeah well I'm glad Russell Wilson is just as bad at the Steelers as he was at the Broncos and our new rookie QB looks really good so that's been fun to watch. I read Bill Belicheck say to Sean Payton if he thinks Bo is his QB then he gotta stick with him now even if we start off bad we gotta stick with him which I agree with. Enough is enough in Denver. I think it could be a replica year of the Bulldogs, new coach last year didn't do the best, get rid of the players that don't want to work hard, sign players that do, next thing we're playoffs bound and looking good. Well Denver is doing just about the same thing honestly so yeah, I dunno lol, no talent roster but they play for one another and that's team culture.

Yeah I missed yas. I kept checking the site every day and then it went and I was like hmm. OK maybe it's just done for good. But I hadnt remember GB being around so I just figured he'd forgot to pay the bill, but I did see the message change a couple of times before the site went so I figured someone was looking after it.

I got really really sick about 2 weeks ago like real sick and if I was 20/30yrs older I dunno if I would have survived it. The worst fever I've ever had.

I remember my back was sore at work so I went home early and I just started shivering out of nowhere but it wasn't just shivering it was like a full body convulsion. I couldn't actually control it and it ended up causing all the muscles in my neck to pull which gave me one hell of a tension headache turn migraine for like 5 days. I couldn't eat or do anything, and it actually was harder to sleep than to stay away because I'd only get 5-10min sleeps that felt like days though. I had to survive on icy poles cause that's all my body wanted. If I ate my body just used too much energy digesting and I felt worse.

Eventually I woke up one night in a cold sweat and I mean I've never sweated like this in my life. I was freezing but my bed was absolutely drenched in sweat I had my own little atmosphere going just from wet sweat blankets that somehow kept me warm if I stay still but then feeling sweat pool up and drip off me I had to get up and shower and then went and fell asleep on another bed we have in the spare room. It was awful.

And the body aches holy jesus they were something else. I couldn't even cross my legs and sit on the floor my muscles and joints hurt that much. I somehow pulled through though was a good 5 day event.

Goatslayer.. I would only guess Asmo with a name like that. But he disappeared a long time ago with the rest of them so who knows.

My body don't have much to give anymore in terms of fighting off an illness. Riddled with arthritis and inflammation now, my inflammation is in chronic condition so it fights 100% of the time, if I get a sickness there's not much of an immune system to fight so I just end up sick all the time now.

What else has been going on?

Oh I picked up my banjo again after too much time off I got the shits with myself and said enough is enough, and then.. I couldn't find my banjo picks... So I blame Artax for eating them cause that's the only logical thing I can think of other than I just can't find them. But they always lived on the table and yeah, but none the worry I had 2 sets of spares and now that I shape them a little easier as I think they're slightly lighter gauge than previous I was able to bend them easier and now I can wear them a little closer to my fingertips without my fingertips hitting the strings so that's good news. But I don't have a plastic thumb pick atm just a nickel one and us bluegrass banjo players don't like metal thumb picks, we prefer plastic so I gotta get another one of them but that's easy I've just been lazy.

I had my birthday. It wasn't very exciting. I didn't do anything actually. Think we had some coke and drinks on the Friday night and I got sick soon after lol I bet that was the last straw my body was like nope, you're done and then I got the back aches and few days later I was in the fever.

Hmm yeah the iRacing was cool, we weren't meant to win an invitational at all we shouldn't have even been close. But what we do these for like 6yrs now? And we're like old as fark compared to the kids that race and are good but while their parents buy them them whole kit and kaboodle and they're quick, experience pays off for us. But we really want to win Daytona 24hrs so imma put a lot of time into that after camping in 6 weeks. I'm sure they'll throw rain into that one and I need a lot of rain work lol, even though I drove in the rain at Spa and we ended up winning that too I want to actually be confident about it.

I started playing a golf game while I was sick and it's heaps of fun lol. I dunno why. It's kinda like the baseball you just don't really have to think about it. Plus it looks and sounds great, just like a TV golf and that's what I like in sports games. I won a round to qualify for the PGA Korn Ferry Amateur series, after a few lousy first rounds I started getting better and then absolutely smashed my last tour and ended the round -45, 21 shots under 2nd place. 😂😂😂 I might have to start making it harder but really the course suits me. There's a lot more to golf than it looks like on TV etc and courses have personal strengths and weaknesses. I actually prefer hitting balls put of the bunker. I'm good at that. I spent a while week in the bunkers 😂 now I use them as ball stoppers and actively seek them if I can punch out a wedge shot rather than hitting the ball over the green or some shiit.

I got like 10 buckets of dirt to fill the backyard with. Haven't done it yet haven't mowed since I got sick so it's like near knee height for me. Well one section, where the dogs run around and pee is all short still it's kinda funny seeing the tracks through the long stuff.

Next doors house looks fewking shiit if you ask me. Some bullskirt modern looking thing taking place but it just doesn't suit any of the other houses around it. It'll stick out like an eyesore and not suit the neighbourhood. It's not close to finish but I just don't get it when I look at it. But I only look at it I'm coming down the road which I don't really do that I drive up the road so I never see the thing.
