Yeah I missed yas. I kept checking the site every day and then it went and I was like hmm. OK maybe it's just done for good. But I hadnt remember GB being around so I just figured he'd forgot to pay the bill, but I did see the message change a couple of times before the site went so I figured someone was looking after it. I got really really sick about 2 weeks ago like real sick and if I was 20/30yrs older I dunno if I would have survived it. The worst fever I've ever had. I remember my back was sore at work so I went home early and I just started shivering out of nowhere but it wasn't just shivering it was like a full body convulsion. I couldn't actually control it and it ended up causing all the muscles in my neck to pull which gave me one hell of a tension headache turn migraine for like 5 days. I couldn't eat or do anything, and it actually was harder to sleep than to stay away because I'd only get 5-10min sleeps that felt like days though. I had to survive on icy poles cause that's all my body wanted. If I ate my body just used too much energy digesting and I felt worse. Eventually I woke up one night in a cold sweat and I mean I've never sweated like this in my life. I was freezing but my bed was absolutely drenched in sweat I had my own little atmosphere going just from wet sweat blankets that somehow kept me warm if I stay still but then feeling sweat pool up and drip off me I had to get up and shower and then went and fell asleep on another bed we have in the spare room. It was awful. And the body aches holy jesus they were something else. I couldn't even cross my legs and sit on the floor my muscles and joints hurt that much. I somehow pulled through though was a good 5 day event. Welllllcommmmme! |

The only way I know to get here is to quote and then delete that quote. Every now and then we all have original thoughts when we don't desire to reply to anyone. However I always desire to have the wonderful emojis! Saturday I had stopped at the grocery store to get meat for Sunday's lunch. Before stopping the truck completely it began to suddenly rain hard and I decided to sit there for a few minutes to let it ease up. It got BAD! I am not an easily scared person...In fact, before Saturday evening I can't remember the last time I was truly a bit frightened. As I sat there, the wind began howling, the rain began to go sideways and I could feel the truck moving. I have a Nissan Frontier. It isn't the biggest truck out there, but its real nice and solid. I had long enough to try to call the son since I wasn't sure what was going to happen  and I wanted to spend moments before I was taken to Oz talking to him.  Of course he didn't answer.  lol Then everything stopped. No rain. I got out to go in and when I was almost to the doors there was a crack of lightening so close there was a smell. Then the electricity went out in the grocery store. I went home and there was no electricity. The top of a tree in the driveway had split off but not all the way off. It was like a broken arm was hanging over the driveway. You could pull in but not get to the house so I had to go in the way I always go out. I was so thankful that was the only tree incident that happened in the woods I live it. The son was able to attach a tow rope to part of what was hanging down, hook it to his Jeep and get it down. With a few swipes of the chain saw he was able to chop it apart enough to pull the many pieces off. I don't want to think about how much some of these tree-service thieves would have charge me. Electricity came back on Sunday afternoon around 5:00. The cats were more unhappy about that than you might imagine. They are citified, pampered kitties that have not had to put up with lack of lights and extreme heat! [They still didn't have to put up with extreme heat.] Having a canopy of trees keeps the inside of a brick house cooler than one might think. So that's the story of my last few days. you can just hit quick reply down the bottom right without quoting. |
