OoOo we seeing the new Alien movie after work this morning. Forgot I bought tickets in my dilerious state yesterday lol. I don't even really want to go I'd rather stay home and rest but I'm sure it'll be fun too

I dunno if I liked the movie. I liked how they made it feel old as in technology so the computers and stuff were like the technology used in the originals. But I did not like the xenoengineer at the end. I thought they reached with that. I also think they make the evolution of the aliens too fast for my liking. I know they gotta get the movie done etc.
I guess I'm not really too sure how long Kane was out in Alien, but if you factor in they had to drag him from crashed ship back their own ship that would have taken a while and then he was sleeping a while even when the face hugger fell off and died.
But as the movies get newer it all seems to happen in 10mins and I don't like that.
I did like Rook, being the replica of Ash. Thought that was ok. Didn't think much of Andy though. A down syndrome Android. Wtf lol. He was much better when he was reprogrammed to be normal.
And also it seemed really quick to me like the movie in general, I was expecting 2.5hrs min, I don't even think it went for two hours.

The only way I know to get here is to quote and then delete that quote. Every now and then we all have original thoughts when we don't desire to reply to anyone. However I always desire to have the wonderful emojis! Saturday I had stopped at the grocery store to get meat for Sunday's lunch. Before stopping the truck completely it began to suddenly rain hard and I decided to sit there for a few minutes to let it ease up. It got BAD! I am not an easily scared person...In fact, before Saturday evening I can't remember the last time I was truly a bit frightened. As I sat there, the wind began howling, the rain began to go sideways and I could feel the truck moving. I have a Nissan Frontier. It isn't the biggest truck out there, but its real nice and solid. I had long enough to try to call the son since I wasn't sure what was going to happen  and I wanted to spend moments before I was taken to Oz talking to him.  Of course he didn't answer.  lol Then everything stopped. No rain. I got out to go in and when I was almost to the doors there was a crack of lightening so close there was a smell. Then the electricity went out in the grocery store. I went home and there was no electricity. The top of a tree in the driveway had split off but not all the way off. It was like a broken arm was hanging over the driveway. You could pull in but not get to the house so I had to go in the way I always go out. I was so thankful that was the only tree incident that happened in the woods I live it. The son was able to attach a tow rope to part of what was hanging down, hook it to his Jeep and get it down. With a few swipes of the chain saw he was able to chop it apart enough to pull the many pieces off. I don't want to think about how much some of these tree-service thieves would have charge me. Electricity came back on Sunday afternoon around 5:00. The cats were more unhappy about that than you might imagine. They are citified, pampered kitties that have not had to put up with lack of lights and extreme heat! [They still didn't have to put up with extreme heat.] Having a canopy of trees keeps the inside of a brick house cooler than one might think. So that's the story of my last few days. you can just hit quick reply down the bottom right without quoting. And when I do that, all I get is the blank reply box. Clicking that quick reply doesn't take me anywhere else, such as to this type of reply box where you have many options of things to do within your post. |

I'm sorry if I haven't replied to anyone I need to make the forums longer like more posts per page then I can keep up 😇 I'm sure there's a lot of fans Wanna catch up with me 😂😂 You got no idea how good it feels to win those races, like it's a big deal. 3/4 of us have hinted at retirement like we're done. We've won nascar championships and big races and now we've won 2x 24hr races. We don't care anymore. We will just race for fun and retire from anxiety. But our team boss really loves Daytona 24hr and so we want to win it for him. We should have won the first one we tried but Jason Fucken binned it out of nowhere 😂😂 Hey Irmi!!!    I sure have missed you!  When I missed just a few days, I see I just missed your entrance! YAY the gang's all here. |
