on at least 2 occasions someone could have photographed me carrying a dead canada goose down the road...our front road along the lake is a hazard for the geese and sometimes tourists hit them...when one sees them the routine is either bring it to the township or call the township if the carcass is too messy to touch...otherwise the vultures get there pretty quick

What about that stupid reality TV survivor show they tried to do in NZ where they drop people off in middle of nowhere and they have to survive and one person accidentally killed a endangered bird because he needed to eat and then they had to pull the show before it even aired 😂 if I went to someone else's country I wouldn't know what was endangered either. But if I gotta eat, I'm throwing rocks at whatever I can find lol.

The 47th season of Survivor will air on September 18th

I saw the first few seasons of the show then just got bored.

I hadn’t thought about it for a long time until Richard Hatch showed up on the local news. He was the season one winner of Survivor Borneo.

The dude continues to refuse to pay his taxes, so the feds are trying to collect two properties he owns in Newport RI. Apparently, the time he spent in prison wasn’t incentive enough. 

I was thinking about an old thought experiment with computers back in the 8 bit/16 bit days of the 80s. Using a monochromatic monitor (I always preferred amber over green) the suggestion is that by adding and subtracting pixels starting with 1 in the upper left corner and ending with one in the lower right corner. 
 
So it would run 24/7 and at the mid point the screen might have a complete rendering of barn being struck by lightning. The next image is a barn being struck by lightning minus 1 pixel. At that time a 16-bit 12MHz processor with 1.4MB of RAM so it was calculated that by the time the screen had displayed everything a screen could display more than 300,000 years would have passed. 
 
What I wonder about now is not an image focus, but the avalanche of redundant data. But I'm also curious how much longer we can keep using these protocols. For years it was cheaper to add more RAM and storage and relieve the processor wait times as much as possible. While they add capabilities to processors they still abide by antiquated limitations. 
 
I wonder if we'll see a confluence of new thinking. Where I have been working in the EV and Agricultural sectors the software and firmware engineers are squeezing the company's Jimmys by making code that's very difficult to walk back or reverse engineers. On the surface that sounds like a triumph for software security. It's not. They have been collecting subroutines for decades and cobbling them together to reach project goals. Even though the module is not specifically tailored to this particular EV, it can simply ignore the extraneous microwave oven commands!
