Orison have you noticed any particular average age or average group of people going to the
Weed store,?... I really don't see a lot of young kids there. It's mostly thirty and up I would say, with lots of over sixties

My boss can be a little eccentric. I did the leaves on her front of her house in the city yesterday. An entire full trailer and then I piled 12 full bags on top of that, I was going to bring it to the free dump, where there is a 60 foot high mountain of leaves, but she asked me to bring them over to the island. And put them in her pile over here for compost....

It's mostly thirty and up I would say, with lots of over sixties The people I see mostly are about the age you mention. Everyone once in a while I see a young young person, but mostly those the kind that work there. (limited job skills).. |

I finally swapped in a bigger inverter (pure sine wave) and crossed off one of my landmarks. I have been using extension cords to distribute the solar power because I am not going to wire into a 1960s house until I can justify changing the antique fuse box with a proper set of breakers.
I have 3 box fans and 2 lights that stay running 24/7 so the system functions under dynamic loading constantly. Yesterday I was able to run the ice maker all day, even while using the vacuum cleaner. Which means I could also run the deep freezer and the refrigerator.
I tried running a window AC with a modified sine wave inverter. While it worked, the power factor was off and the compressor made a peculiar buzz from the fake sine wave, so it ate the battery charge faster than it should have. On this new inverter the AC sounds normal and is consuming less power. Up to now I have been using a pure sine wave inverter for the fans and lights, but it's a 600W Xantrex that sat in the basement unused for about a decade. 600 watts is not enough for an AC or the ice maker.
My battery bank is four 12V/100AH for a theoretical total of 4,800 watts. It's enough to melt a wrench if it falls in a bad way. Scares the s hit out of me to have LiFePO batteries in the house, so I'm building a shed for all of it in the Spring. Maybe I'll have the wind turbine up by then.

house around the corner burnt. kitchen fire. the breaker panel was almost new. Way newer than my fuse box lol. the energy was off so I took that out and put it in my house. squard d panel and breakers about $400 saved.
