house around the corner burnt. kitchen fire. the breaker panel was almost new. Way newer than my fuse box lol. the energy was off so I took that out and put it in my house. squard d panel and breakers about $400 saved. I still have glass fuses for the 30 amp circuits. I have replaced all of the 20 amp circuits with screw-in breakers. I have never been able to find 30 amp screw-ins. |

I've seen some odd fusing arrangements. The UK and Middle East come to mind. I have a breaker box for the solar panels, but I have not decided where the shed will go yet. These are 12V DC breakers. Right now the only fusible aspect to my battery bank is the 2 gauge cables that connect the batteries in parallel. If those are burning, so is the house! |
